Public Notice: Lease Updates

The following Lease Updates have been added to the ACOP.

  1. Rent is due the 1st of the month and will be considered late if received after the 7th.
  2. Merle Henderson
    1. Residents living at Merle Henderson will be issued one key fob to access the building. There will be a fee for all fob replacements. This fob may not be used by anyone other than the person that it has been issued to. Please see rates posted at the HACR Administrative Building located at 58th South 15th St., Richmond, IN 47374.
    2. All outside doors will be locked at all times. Residents must enter and exit through the main lobby door, patio door, back doors and shall not use service doors, fire or emergency exits except in the case of an emergency.
  3. If the Resident fails to make the rent payment by the seventh day of the month, a notice to vacate will be issued to the Resident. If the rent is not paid by the seventh of the month, a $25 late fee will be assessed if the account remains unpaid. A 30-day Notice to Vacate, detailing current assessed charges, will be issued to the tenant.
  4. Notice of Lease Termination: If the Landlord proposes to terminate this Lease, the Resident shall be given written notice of the proposed termination, as listed below:
    1. for failure to pay rent, thirty (30) days.
