RFP: Full Service Elevator/ADA Handicap Lift

The Housing Authority of the City of Richmond (HACR) invites bids from Contractors, Vendors, and Companies to provide Full-Service Elevator and ADA Handicap Lift Maintenance Repair Services in Wayne County, Indiana.   Contractor or any subs must have demonstrated knowledge of all stated Full-Service Elevator and ADA Handicap Lift Maintenance Repair Services requirements.  

Details and bids are due as attached.  Please see all forms for details and attachments (If Applicable).

 Electronic and paper bid submissions are acceptable. Please also return all fully filled out attached documents (if applicable) and a current copy of a Certificate of Insurance showing Housing Authority of the City of Richmond as "Certificate Holder" Must be included (If Applicable). Failure to submit all (applicable) documents may result in the submitted bid being rejected.

Maintenance and Repair Services

The Housing Authority of the City of Richmond (HACR) is requesting proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide Full-Service Elevator/ADA Handicap Lift Maintenance and Repair Services for affordable housing for low-income residents of Richmond. Selected respondent will be responsible for representing HACR's interests as a contractor identifying, analyzing, and securing resources to carry out the project activities, complying with all applicable HUD, state, local requirements, and acting as the liaison among the partners and stakeholders. HACR is a public entity that was formed to provide federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families. HACR is headed by an Executive Director and is governed by a seven-person board of commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations (hereinafter, "CFR") and the HACR's procurement policy.

Proposals will not be accepted after the date and time stated above. Incomplete proposals that do not conform to the requirements specified herein will not be considered. Issuance of the RFP does not obligate HACR to award a contract, nor is HACR liable for any costs incurred by the proposer in the preparation and submittal of proposals for the subject work. HACR retains the right to award all or parts of this contract to several bidders, to not select any bidders, and/or to re-solicit proposals. The act of submitting a proposal is a declaration that the proposer has read the RFP and understands all the requirements.
