The Richmond Housing Authority offers many programs for our Youth to participate in.
Current Partnerships:
Past Partnerships:
- Partners with Earlham College for an after-school tutorial program at three (3) sites.
- Partners with the Girl Scouts at three (3) sites for the summer for young girls.
- Partners with the Reverend James M. Townsend Memorial Building formerly known as Townsend Community Center, for a summer education/recreation program. Also works with Townsend throughout the school year for tenant council functions as well as other ongoing youth programs/adult, etc.
Sponsorships for Youth:
- Memberships for youth to participate in the Boys and Girls Clubs of Wayne County.
- Sponsors youth who are currently in acting school, taking music lessons (one is a state finalist), youth training for conflict resolution, and a few who are National Merit Scholars.
